Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
SNUGGLE PAWS
Do you accept walk-ins?
We prioritize a first-come, first-served basis, and that applies to customers who book in advance. While we can accept walk ins for daycare customers, our slots are often fully booked so we recommend contacting us in advance.
How do I Book a Slot?
You may contact us to any of our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) or call/text us at +63 998 589 2628. You may also book through our booking form in this website and we will contact you for confirmation of your stay.
What Vaccinations are Needed Pre-Boarding/Daycare?
Pets must have valid proof of vaccinations for the following before allowed for boarding/daycare:
Dogs
Rabies
8-in-1 Vaccination
Kennel Cough/Bordetella
Internal/External Parasite Treatment
Cats
Rabies
FVRCP
Internal/External Parasite Treatment
Negative FIV & FELV Test
What are the inclusions for Boarding?
We provide one fence per pet (brothers or sisters may stay in the fence-type enclosure if requested by the owner). Food must be provided by the owners for boarding to ensure safety, while we provide bowls for water and meals. Each fence has a bed and bowl, and owners can choose to bring their pets’ toys for comfort. We also have dedicated time for walks (as often as needed) and playtime for enrichment. We regularly send photo or video updates to pet owners to show their furbabies are having a wonderful time!
Can My Pet Socialize with Other Pets?
As every pet’s temperament is different, we limit interaction with other dogs, especially if the owner requested it. As an alternative, dogs will have separate times to play in our play area! Pets will be assessed for group play based on temperament, play style, age, and other factors slowly in the right play group. We cannot guarantee play time with other dogs, especially if they are not eligible based on our requirements or their temperaments.
How Can I Ensure the Safety of My Pet?
We’re proud to share that the Animal Movers and Snuggle Paws Team is officially Fear Free Certified professionals. This certification reflects our commitment to minimizing fear, stress, and anxiety through gentle, force-free care.
Every furry friend in our boarding and daycare facility is handled with patience, respect, and attention to their emotional well-being.

What is a pet passport? Does my pet require a pet passport to travel?
“Pet Passport” is a collection of documents required to bring your pet into a foreign country. This can include health and rabies certificates, an import permit (if necessary), rabies titer test results (if necessary), a tapeworm certificate (if necessary), and any other documents issued by your veterinarian that customs officials in the destination country will require at customs clearance. European Union (EU) countries issue an EU Pet Passport booklet to EU-resident dogs, cats, and ferrets. If you are traveling to the EU for at least 4 months, you can obtain an EU Pet Passport for your pet.
How do I find the requirements for a specific country?
Unfortunately there is no one source for quarantine and country requirements and Government requirements constantly change, please contact us directly for specific requirements to your chosen destination country.
How much will it cost to fly my pet?
Our international services typically start at $3,000.00 USD for travelling as manifested cargo, but will depend largely on the breed/size/weight of the pet and the services that you will require.
**Please note the above price is a ballpark estimate based on average quotes but it NOT your formal quote and may not apply to you.
If this is within your budget and you would like a detailed estimate, please send us an email at info@animalmovers.ph.
What are the Options for Flying My Pet?
As long as your airline provides these services, your pet can fly in one of three ways.
In the cabin, your pet must weigh less than 8 kg (including its carrier) and can be stowed under the seat in front of you. At the terminal ticket counter, your pet is checked in. If flying internationally, the cost of this class of service can range between $95 and $400 USD.
Checked baggage accompanied by an adult passenger: your pet will be accompanied on the flight by an adult passenger. Your pet has been checked in at the terminal ticket counter and will be transported in the cargo hold. The cost of this type of service is comparable to that of flying with pets in the cabin.
Air cargo: This service is for larger pets, unaccompanied pets, or those who are not allowed to fly in-cabin or as checked baggage. Pets are checked in at your airline’s cargo facility, which is usually on airport grounds but, in very rare cases, in the terminal. The cost of flying your pet as air cargo varies according to the weight and size of your pet and its crate.
How Do You Transport Pets Overseas?
We work with our trusted airline partners to help you find the most direct flight option for your pet. We will work with you to ensure all airline pet regulations are met for international pet transport (e.g making sure that your pet travel crate is airline-approved). We prefer to utilize the airlines who travel through Europe or Dubai where there are dedicated animal transit stations.
These stations have veterinarians and animal handlers on staff to ensure the pets` well-being.
Is It Safe To Fly My Pets In Cargo?
The pets’ cabin is dimly lit and the temperature is set to approximately 18 degrees for comfort. The captain of the aircraft is also aware that your furbaby is on board their flight. What your pet will experience in the cabin is very similar to what we feel and hear in the passenger cabin.
Should I Sedate My Dog When Flying?
Sedation of animals is not allowed for pets traveling by airplane. It is too dangerous as the medication goes into the animal’s blood system, slows down the heartbeat, animal has difficulties controlling body temperature and movement. Sedatives have a different impact when traveling in a pressurized airplane on high altitude and can therefore be very dangerous to the pet’s health.
How Do I Keep My Dog Calm On A Plane?
We recommend putting a blanket into your pet’s travel crate to help comfort your pet, but please be aware that if your pet messes their travel crate this will be removed. In the lead up to their travel, you can also help them associate the crate with positive things such as play and treats.
Where will my pet sit on the plane?
Your pet will travel in the pet cabin. The pet cabin is air pressured, climate controlled and dimly lit, just like the main cabin. Your pet will experience the same sounds and feelings as us, except they have a lot more leg room! Their travel crate is securely fastened to avoid movement.
The captain is aware that your pet is on the flight and as soon as the flight lands, your pet will be offloaded from the plane and checked on straight away.
Do I need to check that my travel crate is airline compliant?
Yes, if you are using your own travel crate you need to check it is airline compliant.
Will my pet be fed before they fly?
We do not recommend feeding your pet within 8 hours of their flight as it may cause travel sickness. They will receive plenty of water throughout their journey.
Will my pet get water during the stop over?
Yes, your pet’s water container will be topped up during a stop over. Depending on the duration of the stop over, they may also stretch their legs and get a cuddle as well.
Does someone check on my pet during the flight?
The captain is aware that your pet is on the flight and as soon as the flight lands, your pet will be offloaded from the plane and checked on straight away.
